Deep Wounds

It's been a week already.  Only a week, and yet an eternity. My beloved grandfather passed away last Saturday (October 13).  It's shocking how fast the time has gone, yet it feels so short and so long at the same time.  The wound and hole in my heart where he took up residence burns and aches with emptiness.  But I know he's in a better place, and he's not suffering anymore. Also, life is effing crazy between work and wedding planning.  I honestly don't know how I haven't been committed to the psych ward yet. :shrug: All this to say, my art is indefinitely on hold.  I love you all dearly and will be around, lurking in the shadows.  But don
